The Huntington YMCA has been serving the residents of Huntington County since 1913. The current facility was built in 1929 and is located in downtown Huntington. The YMCA provides a wide variety of programs for pre-school youth through senior citizens. Stop in for a tour of the facility and a current program brochure.
A major focus at this time is the construction of a new 54,000 square foot facility located on the Parkview Huntington Hospital campus. When the new facility opens, late summer 2008, the name of the YMCA will change to the Parkview Huntington Family YMCA. The total cost for the new facility will be approximately $9 million. The YMCA continues to fundraise for the new facility. Your support would be appreciated.
